Stopped in to see what was causing my tire pressure warning to light up although the tires were not too low. The technician checked all four tires AND my spare; made sure all pressures were correct, and used the computer codes to determine that the sensors in two wheels had failed, probably because their batteries died. (I never knew that was even a possibility!) Based on the high cost of new sensors, I decided that I’d continue to check my tires manually, as I had been doing for the last 50 years. No pressure to have the sensors repaired; just honest and accurate information. That’s why I’m such a loyal customer for over 20 years.
